Medicine and Creative Arts

The MedHEU's arm of Medicine and Creative Arts is represented by an exciting effort thorugh collaborations involving experts from different faculties and disciplines, promoting transdisciplinary activities and events in fields, including, but not limited to creative arts, language and linguistics, arts and social sciences, history and many more. Since its inauguration, several activities, chaired by the Head of MedHEU, Assoc. Prof Dr Julia Patrick Engkasan and lectures, experts and the core team of FOM have witnessed great success and a warm welcome by medical students, healthcare professionals and the public. The Medicine and Creative Arts arm stands to represent four distinctive, yet exhilirating sections across themes like dance, visual arts, drama and music where students and faculty members as well as staff get to participate in engaging acitivities organised by MedHEU in collaboration with distinguished experts from the Faculty of Creative Arts, Universiti Malaya. MedHEU is dedicated to explore further interests and collaborative partnerships with organizations with similar likeliness and passion for creative arts, towards revolutioning humanistic and holisitic medicine.
