The Medical Humanities and Ethics Unit (MedHEU) organized its first webinar for the medical students of Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, addressing on the need for humanities in medicine through a one-hour webinar, in collaboration with Dr Satendra Singh, from the University of College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India and Dr Anindita Patowary from Jorhat Medical College and Hospital, India. The session kicked off with the introduction to the newly established Medical Humanities and Ethics Unit (MedHEU) and its projected aspirations for the medical students, followed by a talk by Dr Satendra on Reviving Humanities in Medicine: The ABCDE Paradigm. Dr Anindita embraced the webinar further, by sharing on her experience being a part of the humanities group and how it shaped her to be a better, and more holistic physician today.
